Norman Allen Fenty
Born on 10-3-1912. He was born in Panama City, Panama. He later died on 2-19-1995.

Norman was born in Panama City, Panama. He was one of six siblings, Pinson, Vincent, Frank, Philip and Gwendolyn. He moved to Buffalo, New York when he was nine years old and remained a resident of the city for the remainder of his life. He attended public school #75 where he was one of the school's first graduates. After elementary school, he graduated from Fosdick Masten High School and then attended Lincoln University in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
As a member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church for approximately 70 years, he was a vestryman and an advisor to Boy Scout Troop #266. In addition, he was a member of St. Philip's Men's Club, the church's Senior Citizen Club, and was affiliated with St. John's Lodge #16, F & A.M. Prince Hall Masons. In 1983, he was named father of the Year by the Ellis Johnson Family.
He retired from years of employment with the New York Central Railroad, Erie County Medical Center, Ford Motor Company and Buffalo General Hospital.
Norman was a loving husband, father and a devoted family man. He was married to the former Jenell Tillman for 60 years. They had four sons, Russell, David, Philip and Michael. He also had ten grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, New York.
