Robert Moore was born on May 11, 1926 in Greensboro, Georgia. He was the son of Nathaniel and Eva Moore. Robert, or Bob as many called him, moved to Buffalo, New York in 1952. he had joined mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greensboro, at an early age and continued devoting his life to Christ, when he joined the St. John Baptist Church after his move to Buffalo.

Bob worked for more then 30 years at General Motors Chevrolet River Road Plant before retiring. He was an avid gardener. He also was a regular jogger at Delaware Park. His favorite thing to do was keeping in touch with his children, family and friends across the country with telephone calls and gifts of love.
