Richard Jolley Jr.
He was born in Buffalo, NY. He later died on 2-13-1925.

Richard was a native of Buffalo, New York. He was the son of Richard Sr. and Mrs. Jolley. His father was one of the first African Americans to hold a job as a customs officer. Richard was a gradate of School #17 and Masten Park High School. He was a member of his high school's football team. He was a member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church and served as an Altar Boy until his illness prevented his continued service. It was reported that Richard had been ill for some time. He was 24 years old at the time of his death. He was funeralized from St. Philip's and Father Brown officiated. Burial took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. He was survived by his parents, his sister, Ruth and his brother, James.
