Angela Johnson-Foster is the daughter of Robert and Pearlie Pettway, Sr., the oldest of three children born in Niagara Falls, NY. She is married to David Foster and has one Son, Derrick Johnson, Jr.

Angela is a Manufacturing Supervisor for General Motors. She earned a BS Degree (1993) in Manufacturing and Materials Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.


Angela began her career path as a Harrison Radiator/Boces Co-Op Student her Junior and Senior year of high school at Niagara Falls High School. She worked two weeks a month at Harrison Radiator (now General Motors) and then took her classes at Lockport High School the other two weeks of the month. This sparked her interest in the math and science field. She worked as an Industrial Engineer and Supervisor for Ceres Corporation for 6 years. She has been in her current position of Manufacturing Supervisor with General Motors since 1999.


Angela is a Member of The Links, Incorporated Niagara Falls Chapter, where she holds the position of Courtesy Chair. She is a Member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church where she is President of the Usher Board, Youth Advisor, Member of the Kitchen Committee and Adult Choir. She is also the Chair of General Motors Professional Managers Network (Lockport).
