The tongue that brings forth healing is a tree of life.
Proverbs 15:4
Before the foundation of the world, God ordained the life, ministry, and work of His vessel of healing, Dr. Noma L. Roberson. Faced with some of the same challenges as the prophets of old, God anointed Dr. Roberson to combat many of the spiritual, mental, and physical sicknesses that plague the world today. Through her steadfast relationship with Him, God has entrusted her with the mandate to minister healing and deliverance through evangelism and medical research throughout the world.
Handcrafted by the potter for such a time as this, Dr. Roberson currently serves as an Evangelist and District Missionary in the Western New York Jurisdiction #2 of the Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Glennwood H. Young, Sr., and Supervisor Margaret Woods. She attends Saints' Home Church of God in Christ, where her pastor is Bishop Carl Roberson. With membership totaling thirty-nine years in the Church of God in Christ and thirty-two years at her present church, Dr. Roberson has served her local church faithfully.
Seeking to acclimate every believer to the place, power, and sufficiency of the cross of Jesus, Dr. Roberson has served in several positions in the local, jurisdictional, and national church. She served as a Workshop Instructor (Health Measures) in the International Women's Department of the Church of God in Christ, District Secretary of the Women's Department, District and Local President of Pastors' and Ministers' Wives, President of the Saints' Home Department of Women, and teacher of Bible Study. In addition, God has anointed Dr. Roberson to conduct church services, seminars, retreats, and conferences across the nation.
Dr. Roberson has illustrated the glory of God through numerous educational accomplishments. She completed a Master of Science degree in Natural Science in 1978, and a doctorate in Experimental Pathology-Epidemiology and Cancer Control in 1985, at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Currently, Dr. Roberson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Roberson Consulting International, headquartered in Amherst, New York. Prior to this position, Dr. Roberson had a twenty-nine-year tenure at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. As an epidemiologist and cancer control specialist at this Institute, Dr. Roberson was Director of Community Intervention Research. One of her national achievements as director was the design and operation of a 34-foot mobile health and screening van.
Dr. Roberson has published numerous articles from her research and is the author of three books. She is a member of numerous international, national, regional, and local professional boards and committees. In addition, she is the recipient of more than thirty awards of achievement.
As Dr. Roberson continues to fulfill the work of Christ, she gives God the glory for her husband of thirty-two years, Elder Willie C. Roberson, two daughters, Cheronn Roberson and Sundra Ryce, son-in-law, Stephen Ryce, and two grandsons, Jonathan and Joshua.
