Zellie Dow, Sr.

He was born in Camden, SC. He was accomplished in the area of Business. He later died on 4-4-1997.

Zellie Dow, Sr. was a longtime Buffalo business owner. He was born in Camden. South Carolina. He moved to Buffalo in the early 1930s. He opened and operated the city's first black owned automobile collision shop at 156 Madison at William Streets. He was a bowling enthusiast and sponsored many bowling teams. He was known for his big smile when he met people.

Mr. Dow died at the age of 82 years old and is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
