During his military career, he was stationed in many places, ultimately ending up in Key West, Florida where he met and married June Marie McCartney. Louis was honorably discharged on June 24, 1960. Louis was the proud father of Sheila McCartney, Terry Marrow and Kelli Miller-Guillory. He was preceded in death by Brenda M. Marrow and Anthony L. Marrow. The values he instilled in his children were to be respected and respectable. He also taught them to honor and love their families first.
Louis was raised a Christian and accepted the Lord as his Savior at a young age. While in the nursing home his youngest daughter, Kelli re-introduced and led him to Christ. Louis was a man of Great wisdom and pride. He was forthright and honest. He would not lead anyone in the wrong direction, only wanting the best for them. Louis said what he meant and meant what he said and it was full of truth and knowledge.
