William Battle

William A. Battle is a Logistics Manager for International Business Machines (IBM) where he has been employed for over 30 years. He has held numerous management positions in the Eastern United States; currently he is responsible for National Programs in the Integrated Supply Chain and Procurement Division.
Mr. Battle, a graduate of Buffalo public schools, has a Bachelors Degree from Canisius College, Buffalo New York and a dual Masters in Business Administration and Information Technology from the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland. He is a certified ISO Auditor and holds a Certificate in Programming for Business Applications from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Mr. Battle is an Adjunct Professor at Bryant & Stratton College, Buffalo NY and the Canisius College Women's Business Center teaching in the Management and Information Technology disciplines.
Mr. Battle is the President of the National Black MBA Association, Inc., Western New York Chapter. He is a member of the NBMBAA CEO advisory board. He is the Vice President of the Board of Directors at the King Urban Life Center, a member of the Board of Directors at the Women's Business Center at Canisius College, a member of the NAACP, the Afro-American Historical Association of the Niagara Frontier and the Buffalo Urban League.
Historically, my family has always been involved in educational and cultural programs. When I walked into the King Center for the first time and saw the bright smiling faces of the grade school children there, I was reminded of my days at school 74. Every time I am in the building, I experience a feeling of hope and the building of brighter futures in process.
