Emmitt Milhouse

Mr. Milhouse was a native of Browns, Alabama He was a veteran of the US Army and served in World War II and came to Buffalo in 1955. He founded Bell's Taxi with his brothers and was company president. He also operated his own independent taxicab at the airport. He was a member of the NAACP and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
Mr. Milhouse was 64 years of age at the time of his death on October 2, 1995. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
