Mrs. Veronica Ivey Golden
Born on 9-6-1986. She was born in Buffalo, NY. She is accomplished in the area of Community.

Veronica Golden, LMSW has worked as a Social Worker for 5 years at the ECMC Outpatient Dialysis Center where some of her responsibilities include psychsocial assessments, coordinating and facilitating careplans, making referrals for various medical appointments, troubleshooting billing and medication issues, outreach, education, and more.
She is a graduate of Hutchinson Central Technical High School, Erie Community College, and the University at Buffalo where she was awarded the Arthur A. Schomburg fellowship and obtained her Master's in Social Work in 2011.
She has a passion for helping people and making her community better as evidenced by her former volunteer work with the Stop the Violence Coalition, Literacy Volunteers of Buffalo & Erie County, AmeriCorps, GIRLS Sports Foundation, DREAM program, BPS#74, and more.
In recent years, she has taught in the Social Sciences Dept. at ECC, been active on the Erie County Youth Board, graduated from the Women Elect program, won the Erie County Democratic Committeeman Seat in Masten district twice, and recently joined the William Emslie YMCA board and Buffalo Association of Black Social Workers.
When she is not at a community event or enriching herself with the Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals, she enjoys being a mom and wife.
