Sharon Foote DuBard

Sharon DuBard is the eldest of eight children of Lonnie Charles and Mary Foote. She was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and came to Buffalo, NY with her parents when she was very young. Sharon had played a formidable leader to her sisters and one brother always helping and caring for her siblings like they were her own. She attended the Buffalo Public Schools and before she graduated from East High School, she studied and wanted to be a secretary.

She perused fulltime employment immediately after graduating. Her first work experiences were with different businesses using her secretary skills. Her professional experiences include; currently Credit Union at Sisters Hospital, various temp jobs including HSBC, Belmont Shelter, D'Youville College, Horizon Corp., United Silicone; all short term in administrative capacities, Cathedral Corporation Feb 1983 to July 2001, Board of Education--Clerk Typist 1981-1982, and WNED-TV/Ch. 17--Secretary 1976-1980

Her advanced education includes Kenmore-Tonawanda Union Free School District Paralegal course, and Canisius Collegeââ?¬â?Psychology course.

Sharonââ?¬â?¢s outside interests are very impressive serving as the President of Bethel A.M.E. Federal Credit Union since 1995, and a dedicated member of the of Lit-Mus Study Club She is the current President of this club. She has sung all her life in the school and church choirs. She is presently and an active member of the Cathedral Choir at Bethel AME Church. For her civic duties she works for the Erie County Board of Elections Voting Inspector.

She also enjoys reading, music, and gardening.


Sharon is married to Raymond DuBard, a mother of Raymond and Stephanie, and has three grandchildren.
