Mary J. Snell Davis

Mary Snell Davis was the loving daughter of Howard and Ruth Snell. She had two siblings, Margaret and Howard Snell Jr. Mary was married to the late Shirley L. Davis. She was a devoted mother to daughter Gigi M. Davis and son Howard D. Stancil. She was the cherished grandmother of Albert D. Richardson and Imani J. Molson and a great-grandmother of Damian and the late Sanaa Richardson.


Mary was the beloved talk show host of the Mary Davis Show. She was the first African American woman to have a radio and television production in Buffalo, where she was a political activist, community leader, and friend to many. Mary will be remembered for always putting her family first.
