Colonel Roseboro is a product of the Buffalo Public Schools and graduated from D'Youville College School of Nursing in 1976. In 1984, she received a Master of Science Degree in Management and Business Administration from Troy State University, Troy, Alabama. She entered the United States Air Force in November 1978 and held many staff, supervisory and executive positions in a twenty-five year Air Force career.
Her many nursing positions include Staff Nurse, Obstetrical Unit, USAF Hospital Sheppard AFB, Texas; Nurse Manager, Labor and Delivery, USAF Hospital Lakenheath, RAF Lakenheath, England; and Chief, Nurse Recruiting Branch, 3534 USAF Recruiting Squadron, Richmond, Virginia, where her branch took national recognition for coming in at number one in the nation for nurse recruiting two years in a row. Major Roseboro became Supervisor, Maternal/Child Module; Supervisor, Primary Care Module; Infection Officer; Base Moulage Officer and Chief Nurse, Air Transportable Hospital, 58th Medical Group, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, Regional Managed Care Coordinator (DoD/OSD(HA) Managed Care Demonstration Project) Delaware Valley Health Services System, Fort Dix, New Jersey; Commander, 7th Medical Operations Squadron; Chief Nurse Executive, 7th Medical Group, Dyess AFB, Texas; and Chief, Accreditation and Quality and Chief Nurse Executive, 89th Medical Group, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland.
Currently, Colonel Roseboro is the Chief Nurse Executive, 56th Medical Group, Air Education and Training Command, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. She is responsible for the coordination of nursing personnel and is a board certified Nursing Administrator.
Colonel Roseboro's awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (4th Oak Leaf Cluster), Air Force Commendation Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Air Force Achievement Medal; Air Force Outstanding Unit Ribbon (2nd Oak Leaf Cluster), Air Force Organizational Excellence Ribbon, National Defense Medal with bronze star, Humanitarian Medal; Air Force Long Tour, Overseas Ribbon; Air Force Longevity Ribbon (3rd Oak Leaf Cluster), Air Force Recruiting Ribbon and Air Force Basic Training Ribbon.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society; American Red Cross Volunteer Nurse (Life Member) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Golden Life).
Colonel Roseboro recently served as the Commander, 99th Expeditionary Medical Operations Squadron during OPERATION Northern Watch and Enduring Freedom in Incirlik, Turkey. She has been selected to become Director, Organization Effectiveness where she will be in charge of healthcare software acquisitions for the Department of Defense.
Colonel Roseboro is the daughter of Alfred, (deceased) and Emma Killian. She has one daughter, Renee Dawson and granddaughter, Brittany of Alexandria, Virginia. She is the sister of Alfreda, Gregory (Warene) and Jerome Killian of Buffalo, New York and Alfred Killian of Denver, Colorado.
Before joining the military, she was a member of St. John Baptist Church where she still worships when visiting with family.
