George C. Anderson

He was born in Buffalo, NY. He later died on 12-16-1954.

A member of one of the oldest Black families in Buffalo, Anderson could trace his family history back to 1832. He was the first African American employed by the United States Postal Service in Buffalo, New York. He died on December 16, 1954 and is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
