Uncrowned Community Builders

Ms. McNeal was born in Buffalo, New York. She was the former Charlotte Davis and attended city schools. She was a graduate of Buffalo State College. She taught in city public schools for more than 30 years. She was a founder of the Black Business and Professional Womenââ?¬â?¢s Organization, which honored her as an educator in 1973. She was a lifelong member of the First Shiloh Baptist Church where she helped create a pantry. She was a member of Church Women United and the Buffalo Chapter of the NAACP.

Ms. McNeal was 75 years old at the time of her death and is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
