Mrs. Bessie L. Walker was married to Sherman L. Walker. She came to Buffalo with her husband in 1922. Mrs. Walker worked with her husband in their funeral home. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and was very active in her church, Trinity Baptist Church.
She was "remembered for her kindness, generosity to many."
Mrs. Walker died a year before the tragic death of her husband and grandchildren.
