Susan Hunter-Cole was the Co-chair of the Children's Committee for the Juneteenth Festival, Inc. Susan was recruited by Mary Jefferies the Chair person for the Children's Committee for the Juneteenth Festival, Inc.
Susan Hunter-Cole is a native of Buffalo New York. She attended Villa Maria College, for Early Childhood Education. A former employee for A.D. Price Willert Price (CDBG) of the city of Buffalo Community Action Organization, Inc., Buffalo Urban League, Inc., and New Directions Youth and Family Services.
Susan is the youngest daughter of the late Mary C. Hunter who retired from the Buffalo Urban League, Inc. Mary C. Hunter was called home to be with our Father on March 2, 2007.
Susan relocated to Atlanta GA in 2006 with her two sons Kevin Jr. and Kevon Cole. She is currently the Founder/Owner/CEO of the Mary C's and Sue's New Leaf, Inc., a Supportive Living Housing for Veterans who are about to be released from combat in need of a place to live and assistance with transitioning back into society, and individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer's and Mental disorders who can no longer live alone. The organization is in memory of her mother "Mary C. Hunter" who worked with individuals from all walks of life, and impacted many lives and help thousands of others.
