Julius Blazer was a tire store owner and restaurant owner. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana and came to Buffalo at an early age.
In the 1960s he and John Young opened "Wings and Things" restaurant on Jefferson Avenue, which featured Buffalo chicken wings with mambo sauce.
Mr. Blazer was 59 years of age when he died on October 30, 1996. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
