Joy LeDoux Johnson

Dr. Joy LeDoux Johnson was born in Columbus Georgia on September 15, 1965 to Robert and Delores LeDoux. Dr. Johnson attended Jackson State University, a historically black university, on a full academic scholarship graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1987. She received multiple academic honors such as "Outstanding Young Women of America", "Who's Who", and National Honors Scholar. Dr. Johnson participated in Brookhavenââ?¬â?¢s National Laboratory Research Program developing a research project that was presented at their National Meeting.

Dr. Johnson is a 1991 graduate of the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine. She successfully completed a combined Internship and Residency for Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1996. Dr. Johnson worked in private practice with Oklahoma City Clinic and the Mercy Health Network for 8 years. In 2004, Dr. Johnson founded In God's Care, Inc. a non profit organization, which was birthed from her passion to reach out to those who otherwise would not receive quality healthcare with our current insurance system. Her desire goes far beyond quality healthcare and providing medications, she strives to empower each man, woman, girl, and boy with the tools for healthy living in every vital area of their lives.

She has received numerous awards throughout her career including a Community Service Award from Partners Conference for Oklahoma families on behalf of In Godââ?¬â?¢s Care. She is also the recipient of the Jack & Jill Oklahoma Chapter African American Trailblazer Award along with being recognized by the American Red Cross as a HERO. Dr. Johnson is a member of Greater New Bethlehem Temple where she serves as the Treasurer and Assistant to the pastor. She also mentors and guides medical students along with reaching out to anyone who is in need of prayer, spiritual assistance and medical help. Her faith in God and belief in scripture defines her and promotes excellence in all areas of her life.
