Elaine Hennie Megna

She was born in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Hennie-Megna is a native of the Bronx, New York. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Hunter College. In 1974, she moved to Buffalo to attend Dental School at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She established her private practice in 1989 and continues to offer services in cosmetic and general dentistry. She states that her objective is, "to deliver quality care, cost effectively to the Buffalo community."

Since 1985, she also has served as an instructor in the Dental Assisting Program at UB's Educational Opportunity Center.

She is the Past President of the National Dental Association and member of the Upstate Medical Alliance, Eighth District Dental Society, and American Dental Association. She also is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Dr. Hennie-Megna writes a column on dental health for The Buffalo Challenger newspaper. In addition she is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker to high school and college groups. She is a lecturer for the Junior Achievement Program, and is a golf instructor for inner city youth.

Dr. Hennie-Megna is married to Ralph C. Megna, Esq., and has two children, Camille and Brandon.
