Alicia is employed as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner and Stroke Clinical Coordinator at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  In addition, serves as a stroke community educator and has been allotted the opportunity to speak at local health fairs, and community events regarding stroke awareness and prevention.  She finds purpose in empowering the community through education, with the hopes of decreasing morbidity and mortality.

During her young adult years Alicia served as a program assistant for the United Cerebral Palsy Association. Here she facilitated the mentally impaired with activities of daily living and medication administration.  This gratifying experience developed her love and compassion for taking care of people.  At the age of 22 she decided to pursue a career in nursing as a full-time student.  Alicia constantly juggled the roles of a wife and mother while coordinating the health ministry at her local church.

Alicia obtained her Licensed Practical Nurse certificate in 1997, followed by an Associate Degree in Applied Science through Niagara County Community College in 2003.  A few years later, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, followed by Master of Science Degree with Adult Nurse Practitioner certification in 2009 through Daemen College.  On May 26th, 2017, she completed her terminal degree in nursing by obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice through Daemen College.  Alicia is Board Certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She is a two-time nominee for the YWCA Niagara County Woman of Distinction Award, a recipient of New York State Assembly Citation for exemplary community service, and most recently awarded the humanitarian award by the Lasalle Educational Club.
