He was born in Buffalo, New York.

Dale Martin; father, leader, educator, business consultant and community activist are just a few things that describes who he is. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and a graduate of Kensington High School, he has devoted his life to helping others, pursuing levels of higher education and leading by example.
Dale is currently a Corporate Training Manager & IT Consultant with Bryant & Stratton College Professional Skills Center in Getzville, New York. His daily responsibilities include working with businesses throughout the Western New York business community in identifying and building training solutions for their company. Prior to this position he held a number positions in the Business & Technology field, ranging from Voice & Data Account Executive for a major Telecommunications Company to Network Support Coordinator and Project Manager in the information technology field.
Adding to his credit, Dale is currently vice-president of WNYSIP (Western New York Society of Information Professionals); an IT organization whoââ?¬â?¢s mission is to provide a networking and educational forum for the advancement of the IT Professional, by providing quality presentation, peer networking, professional standards, practices, code of conduct and leadership opportunities.
Dale is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo class of 2005 and was recently selected member of Cambridge Whoââ?¬â?¢s Who Registry of Business Executives. Dale has earned a number of IT Certifications over the years and earlier this year he earned his Certified Business Professional Certification in Leadership through the International Business Training Association of America. He is a senior at Dââ?¬â?¢Youville College in the Advance Management Program, and currently holds a 3.5 GPA. He was selected into the Pinnacle Honor Society and on May 6 he will represent the college in the SIFE National Business Competition in Dallas, Texas. In December of this year he will enter the Master Degree Program in International Business with a concentration in marketing.
In addition to his academic achievements, he still finds time to spend with family and friends and give back to the community that has given so much to him.He participates in various walk a thons supporting the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and has helped raise money and awareness for the Buffalo Philharmonic during their 2006-2007 concert series.
He is an active board member at SUNY-EOC, where he volunteers his time working with the students and faculty members with course programming, mentoring and career development. In 2006, EOC awarded him the Friends of EOC Award at their commencement ceremony. He has been a mentor for the Realm Leadership Program at the University of Buffalo, guest speaker for several mentoring programs for young men, and his favorite- reading to school aged children during the Dr. Seuss birthday observance at several Buffalo Public Schools.
Dale believes that it is his duty to be the best he can be, and to continue to give back to his community. So he has partnered with the Mayorââ?¬â?¢s Citizen Participation Academy to get a better understanding on how city and county government work, and to learn how he can be utilized to the fullest and really become an ambassador of this community.
