Mr. Cecile Washington is an educational consultant and managing partner for Panhandle Educational Consulting Services, LLC., with more 15 years of experience in higher education in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Washington has extensive experience in policy development, home education, advocacy, education reform, grant management, prospect research, leadership, teaching and learning strategies, education collaborations and curriculum development. Mr. Washington has spent the last several years immersed in the world of online learning and assisting organizations with distance education programs.

Mr. Washington commitment is to ensuring schools create and sustain quality teaching and learning environments for all students to be successful in school. He provides technical assistance and training to teachers, state and district-level policymakers and education leaders on effective strategies to engage youth, create policies, increase effective school practice and engage stakeholders to improve education and student success. Mr. Washington also provides professional development to these constituents to ensure schools achieve their mission.

Mr. Washington serves on numerous community and advisory boards including the United States of America Selective Services Board appointed by President George W. Bush and Mayor John Marks for Star Metro Transit System for the City of Tallahassee, Florida. In addition, he holds a Bachelor's degree Business Administration in Accounting, Master's degree in Computer Technology in Education, and an Educational Specialist's degree in Educational Media, Curriculum and Instruction.

Mr. Washington has held membership in the Association for Student Conduct Administration; American Library Association; Brothers of the Academy; Columbia Teachers College Record Book Reviewer; Florida Career Professionals Association; Higher Education Consultants Association; International Society for Technology in Education; Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Training; National Association of Colleges and Employers; Southern Association of Colleges and Employers; American Society for Training and Development; Southern Association for College Admission Counseling; and National Career Development Association.
