Writing as Toni Mariani, Bridgette Antoinette lives to carry on her father and son's musical genius, sharing through words and pictures the legacy established while her forefathers sang in the cotton fields of Mississippi. Her books include the Mississippi Plantation Series, beginning with Chained to Love. The Dark side of Slavery! This series ends with MaDea's Plantation Cookbook. Recipes from the Old South.

Toni is currently working on a tribute to her son's, Sean Emmanuel at fifteen years of age was shot in the back, murdered by gangsters in Tacoma Washington. Seneca Eric, rapper, songwriter and musician was killed in a roll-over car crash in 2000. Toni lives to share stories of her family so that others understand that we all have a story, and though gone temporarily our loved ones need never be forgotten!
