Uncrowned Community Builders

Barry Robinson was a former two-term Erie County Legislator and a Vietnam veteran. He was born in White Plains, NY and the family moved to Buffalo when he was an infant. He attended public schools and received a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University at Buffalo. He served in the military from 1964-68 in Germany and Vietnam. He was active in the Democratic Party and was elected 3rd district representative. He was active in voter registration among minorities. Mr. Robinson was the son of another Uncrowned King, William Robinson. At the time of his death, he was 50 years old. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
