Henry Brimm was a professional boxer who fought such big names as Rocky Graziano, and Bobo Olsen. He boxed Sugar Ray Robinson to a 10 round draw. He was born in Santruse, Puerto Rico.

Henry and his family moved to Lackawanna when he was 5 years old. He began his boxing career at the age of 14 as an amateur. He often recalled that one of his greatest thrills was winning the National Amateur Athletic Union boxing crown in 1939 in Boston, MA.

Sugar Ray Robinson beat him in a 10 round decision at the Auditorium in Buffalo in 1948, and then battled to a draw in a rematch in Buffalo the following year. He never conceded defeat after the bout stating that "I beat him and he knows I beat him. He won't fight me a third time." His last big boxing shot was in 1950 when he fought former middleweight champ Rocky Graziano but got knocked out in the fourth round at the Buffalo Aud. Henry Brimm was 71 years of age at the time of his death. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
